Just spent a fabulous week at fiddle camp with my middle son - it was SO hot!  As soon as I saw these three siblings…I just knew I had to photograph them.  I can easily say that these are three of the NICEST teens I’ve ever met.  Didn’t get a chance to talk to their parents…but, I’m sure you must be so proud of your fabulous kids!  So…thanks to the Reeves Family…it was a pleasure taking your photos, and witnessing your amazing talent all week long!

I had so much fun last night with Kevin & Cyndie and their boys!  It was one of those comfortable, relaxed shoots, where you just know the photos are going to be so fun!  Cyndie had put a lot of effort into picking out just the right clothing as well…which makes the end product just that much better!  I also really loved seeing & capturing the special relationship that the boys have with their Grandma…who I’m so glad I had a chance to meet & photograph!

Wow - it is HOT!  We were so hot after work yesterday, that we decided to load up and head to the cabin for dinner…just to cool down!  Parker was happy to swim without his cast on finally…and the rest of the group…well, they were just happy!

I had the most amazing day photographing precious baby Elizabeth.  I haven’t seen her wonderful family since I did her big brother’s photos awhile back…and it was wonderful to visit with them again.  At the end of the photoshoot, I got a quick lesson in how to drive a quad, and we went on a tour of their property…with me driving a quad!  It was very exciting…Keaton and Griff were very happy that they came along to be my photo assistants!

Congratulations to Wes & Erica on their gorgeous new baby boy.  Wow…Erica - I have to be honest and tell you that your birth was really, really difficult…I hope your next one is much easier!  As I kept promising you though…it really is all worth it in the end…and baby Will is going to bring so much joy to your lives.  Again…thank you both so much for allowing me to be with you during this incredible experience.  Erica, you were really amazing!

All day long at the beach today, this song kept coming to mind!  It was so fun to gather up the kids and head out to the lake.  I don’t think we’ve ever gone to another lake since we’ve had our cabin - so the kids thought it was a total blast, and came home and told their dad we must go back again soon!  It’s so great sharing my love of my kids/her kids and photography with my awesome friend Shan - makes for many a perfect day!

I get so many questions from clients asking what they should wear to their sessions…so I’ve decided to post some ideas for you all.  Now keep in mind, these are only guidelines - I realize we can’t all run out to Gap, Old Navy, or many of those other great shops to buy our outfits…but from my ideas, you might just find something similar right here in Williams Lake!  Also, there are some great stores in town that will be happy to help you with outfit suggestions.  I’ll do a variety…teens, couples sessions, baby…this week, I’m showcasing what I think would look great for a family of four.  Now…I only have boys, so this picking out girls clothing just might get out of hand if I let it!  Anyways, would love to hear your thoughts and suggestions on this new section of my blog…thx!

Wes & Erica will be meeting their beautiful baby very, very soon…she is currently in labor, and I’m just waiting to  hear from them, and then I will join them and be a part of their birth, and welcoming their precious babe into the world.  I feel so honored when a couple invites me to be with them during such an incredibly special moment. 

I am a bit in love with their maternity photos…as I hope they will be too!

I had SO much fun photographing Shari & Daryl’s wedding…we found this fabulous spot at their neighbor’s house to do some really fun photographs…and the rain held off for most of the day, which was lucky for us.  Thanks so much for allowing me to share in your special day, with all of your wonderful family and friends.  Shannon (my fabulous 2nd shooter) and I were so happy to spend the day and meet you all…
