I have know Niki since before she entered the world!  Her mom was the first one of my friends to have a baby…and I was so in love with her.  Even now, she holds a very special place in my heart, even though we don’t see her or her family nearly as often as I’d like to!  I can’t quite believe she’s graduating…where does the time go?  Had a lot of fun hanging out with Niki, Grant and Jodi…and when I look at these pictures, they remind me of the lyrics to a John Mellencamp song that I love…”You’re Life is Now”…enjoy!

I had so much fun with Brad & Lori shooting their maternity photos (and talking a bit of shop with Brad - it’s so fun when you meet someone who can talk photography!).  I am SO excited to shoot your birth, and can’t wait to meet your precious baby girl…

My dad has this awesome old pickup (how did I miss this?)…we’re hoping in the future he and the boys will be able to spend a lot of quality time together restoring it…but for now, I think it makes a great prop!

Running errands, matching socks

Cooking, cleaning, and finding shoes

Some Good Thoughts for Jen

My friend Jen is going through more stress than anyone should ever have to deal with…on Monday morning, she’ll be in surgery, having a tumor removed from her kidney, that was discovered only because she was planning on DONATING that kidney to her sick cousin…how ironic is that?  Anyways, I really wanted to capture some fun family photos for them before the surgery…and I hope we did just that.

Blake is 3!

Wow…where does the time go?  I’ve been photographing Blake since he was a baby…and he just keeps getting cuter everytime he shows up!  I think if you asked him if he was cute…his reply just might be “yep”!  What do you think Jen?
